Reclaiming a Healthy Relationship with Food
A young woman came to the program struggling with severe body-image distortion. Although she appeared healthy to everyone around her, she believed she was overweight and battled cycles of restrictive eating, binge eating, and purging.
During her first hypnotherapy session, we focused on the emotional beliefs driving these behaviors rather than food itself. She reported an immediate reduction in the urge to purge and began eating normal meals without the overwhelming anxiety she had previously experienced.
Over the following sessions, she continued rebuilding a healthier relationship with food, developed greater self-acceptance, and established long-term maintenance strategies that helped support her ongoing progress.
